Enabling Admin mode during the installation of the tConnect app grants control over certain aspects of the device, which can be highly beneficial. Here are the reasons to allow Admin mode:

  • Lock Screen: The screen can be locked with the tConnect app active. Exiting the tConnect app to use the tablet in a usual manner requires a PIN code.

  • Automatic Update: The tConnect app can be updated remotely without the need for manual intervention.

  • Remove Special App: Some preinstalled apps that cannot be uninstalled by a user can be "hidden" in Admin mode. This is applicable for apps like YouTube.

  • Kiosk Mode: The tConnect app can operate in Kiosk mode, providing a controlled interactive experience.

  • Better Battery Life and Faster Device: Admin mode can close some unnecessary apps running in the background, thereby extending battery life and enhancing device performance.

Consider enabling Admin mode to take full advantage of these functionalities during the installation of the tConnect app.
