This chapter provides a step-by-step manual on how to set up an Android device (mobile/tablet) with Android 12 or newer Android operating system.

  1. First, we have to go through the initial setup of the tablet,

Choose language and press “Start”
Confirm the checkbox and press “Next”

  1. After the initial step, you should be in the tablet Main screen,

  1. Go to Settings → About tablet,

  1. After clicking 7 times (magic) on “Build number” you should get a message: “You are now a developer”,

  2. If the message does not appear, probably you already are a developer,

  3. Proceed to Developer options (Settings → System → Developer Options),

  1. Inside the developer options find USB debugging and turn it on. You should immediately get a pop-up dialog like this.

  1. Connect the device with your laptop/computer via cable and run tConnect Installer.

After these steps, you and your device should be ready to use the tConnect Installation app to install tConnect.
