Device Actions explained
There are multiple actions that you can execute for each device. Here is a quick overview:
- you will be able to edit devices parameters, like login name, password, change tConnect version, device type, and more,
- delete the device,
- log in device with the QR code into the portal (login password will be changed!),
- here you can set up devices configuration,
- tokens used by the device to log into the portal (by removing the tokens the device won’t be able to log in automatically upon launching),
- device events will be listed here,
- mandown events will be shown here,
- other logs will be shown here.
Edit
The edit window is divided into two parts, the first is the ‘General’ settings, and the second one is ‘RTLS’ setting.
On the ‘General’ page you can modify the device name, tConnect version, login name, password, and more.
The ‘RTLS’ page is used if we want to invert localization monitoring so that devices will be stationary and the beacons will be mounted on forklifts. Those RTLS settings are explained here.
