To restrict the movement of the devices through walls and other stationary objects in the Digital Twin app, we have to correctly set up the barriers or digital walls. When set correctly, you will see a nice movement of forklifts or employees between racks or machines and not through them 😄
How to create barriers?
Follow these steps:
Navigate to the Places → Barriers,
you should see the layout of your factory. If the error occurred, please check if you have the layout imported on the Sectors page.
3. Allow editing by unlocking the lock located at the top left,
4. change the ‘Barrier size’ as you need. It is better to use a smaller barrier size.
In my case, I have to make my barriers 0.3 in size, otherwise, it would be impossible to set barriers only to the layout walls.
To mark barriers, press the left mouse button and drag. When the mouse button is released, the barriers will be marked. At the bottom of the page is a quick overview how to use barriers controls.
5. Don’t forget to save your changes, the save button is at the top. Saved barriers will turn red.
