Beacons are stationary Bluetooth devices that emit signals. Devices running our tConnect app can pick up these signals and use them to triangulate their positions based on the relative strength and origin of signals from multiple beacons.
On this page, you can configure your Beacons, which are crucial for determining the locations of various devices—such as forklifts, personnel, and trucks—within your factory.
Additionally, this page provides access to a detailed database of all your beacons, including information such as their specific positions, ID numbers, MAC addresses, and other relevant details. This setup ensures precise and reliable location tracking within your facility.
Currently, we use our custom Bluetooth beacons for location tracking. However, our system is also compatible with third-party beacons from manufacturers like BlueBeacons, Kontakt.io , and MokoBeacon. This flexibility allows you to choose the best beacon option based on your specific needs and preferences for optimizing device tracking in your facility.
To show the correct position of the device in your factory, you need to have correctly placed beacons on your schema.
