RTLS Analytics

The RTLS Analytics tab is specifically designed for analyzing Real-Time Location System (RTLS) data from devices running the tConnect application. This tab features multiple tables, each equipped with various options to help you filter and view the information you need. This setup allows for detailed and customized analysis of device location data, helping you make informed decisions based on specific metrics and trends.

Overview

This tab is used to give you a brief overview of the activity of your devices. You can select table filters like Area, Layer, Accepted orders, and more in this large pivot table. To apply filters, just simply drag&dropped them in the row, column, or in the upper left corner of the table.

To see and interact with this data, you need to have set up shifts (day shift, night shift…) which can be set upped in the Settings tab.

Quick device info in overview

In case the contingency table contains devices, it is possible to view quick overview to the selected device by clicking on the device. The quick overview provides the most useful information from Devices Detail.

Select up to 3 devices and compare them fast and effectively.

Devices Detail

If you want to see device activity how much a forklift was waiting on a spot, how long was the forklift moving with the pallet or how much was the device offline, you can see it here in the Device Detail tab.

You can choose a device from the table to load more information which will be shown on the right.

The orange line on the map of your factory represents the movement of this device. Above the map, there are controls for tracking the movement of the selected device in the selected time window. The default time window is today’s date but you can change it by clicking the CHANGE DATE button at the top.

Title - the title of the monitored device
Last activity - the last record when the device has sent its position
Battery - the battery of the monitored device
Moving - moving time during the shift
Waiting - waiting time during the shift
Pallet - time with loaded pallet during the shift
Online - online time (device was sending data) during the shift
Offline - offline time (device was not sending data) during the shift
OEE - overall equipment effectiveness
Target OEE - overall equipment effectiveness in “time range”. More info about Target OEE (OEE Coefficient): Branch.
KPI - key performance indicators
(Time Range = overall time of selected period).

Devices Activity

Here is shown the same information as in Devices Detail but with fewer details. This page is useful if you need to print out the graphs and pinned them on the bulletin board.

Device per Shift

To check how active were devices during a particular shift, you can choose one or more devices, the date, and the shift at the top of the page The graph will be loaded with the indication of how active were devices in each hour. Also, the total average is also shown in the graph.

Shift Summary

The graph on this page is showing a summary of all devices, and how active they were during the last three weeks during the selected shifts.

Activity Duration

Here is shown, how long were devices idling and moving.

Activity Summary

Activity Summary is used to display the sum of how long the devices were active in motion

Area Occurrence

To show a summary in which areas was the device located for how long, Area Occurrence is the right place to take a look.

Sector Occurrence

To show a summary in which sectors was the device located for how long, Sector Occurrence is the right place to take a look.
