How to set up packages in Node to send and receive orders?
To facilitate sending and receiving packages between nodes, both the sender and receiver nodes must be configured to handle the same package type. For example, if you're using the package titled "Forklift Jobs," which includes tasks like "Load the truck" and "Unload the truck," you need to ensure that both nodes are set up to manage this specific package. This setup allows a warehouse operator to send orders directly to any of the three forklift operators available by aligning the package definitions on both the sending and receiving ends. This synchronization ensures that the intended tasks are communicated and executed efficiently between the designated parties.
Click "AOS", then expand the “AOS Settings” and select the “Editor” menu,
Click "Packages",
Click the plus button to add the package we would like to be able to send.
Select the package we would like to be able to send.
Save your changes,
Click "SAVE",
Click "Packages",
Repeat the same process for the receiver Node.
This is the result of our setup.
After this setup, our two tablets are a bit different. On both, we can create orders.
