This section outlines the critical first steps in enabling Real-Time Location System (RTLS) tracking within your facility. To visualize movement in your Digital Twin, we must first establish a physical reference network.
What we will cover:
Hardware Selection: Choosing the appropriate BLE Beacons or stationary antennas for your specific environment.
Strategic Positioning: Mapping the exact coordinates for your stationary devices to ensure optimal signal coverage.
Triangulation Mapping: Configuring these fixed points in the portal so the system can accurately calculate the real-time position of your moving assets.
Prerequisites: Connected Devices
Before you can see movement on your map, you must have active tracking devices on the floor.
Required Hardware: To visualize real-time positioning, you need Android devices (tablets or smartphones) running the tConnect app. These devices must be successfully logged into your Admin Portal to begin transmitting location data.
