Most of the time you will find your beacons automatically added to your database after purchase and installation. If you mistakenly deleted your beacon, you can manually add it back. You will need to have this deleted beacon, the nRF Connect app, or another for scanning Bluetooth devices, and a place without any beacons around you.
Get the beacon MAC address
Take out the battery from the beacon you would like to add,
open the https://portal.twinzo.eu/#rtls/beacons page,
or paper for the beacon MAC address
open your app for scanning Bluetooth devices and start scanning,
insert the battery into the beacon,
after a while, the beacon with the name INFOTECH or twinzo tBeacon CR should pop up with its own MAC address,
take note of the MAC address.
Since all our beacons have the same name, it is recommended to perform this procedure in a location where there are no other beacons to find the correct MAC address.
Adding the beacons to the portal
Open the https://portal.twinzo.eu/#rtls/beacons page,
click the PLUS button,
3. type the Beacon ID (located on the beacon motherboard or on the case),
4. type in the MAC address of the beacon,
5. choose the BLE beacon type of the beacon,
6. select a sector where the beacon will be located,
7. set the beacon as active,
8. set the beacon as stationary (if the beacon is stationary),
If you forget to check the ‘Is stationary?’ the beacon won’t be visible on the map to the right.
